How To Measure Your Head

  • Use a tape measure. If you don't have a tape measure, cut a long piece of string. You can then mark and measure that afterwards
  • Wrap the tape around your head, just above the ears and across the middle of your forehead. It should be roughly where you would comfortably sit a hat.
  • The tape or string should be snug but not too tight. It is better to be too big than too small because you can always add a piece of foam or folded tissue under the sweatband to improve it.
  • Record the measurement in cm's and have a look in the size chart above for your standard size.
  • Please note however that many of our hats are handmade and also as with other items of apparel, sizes can vary from one manufacturer to another. We cannot guarantee that by following the above instructions you will get a perfect fit. Also head shapes vary in height and shape considerably.
  • For example, if you lay 4 x t-shirts, from 4 different manufacturers side by side and all supposedly all the same size, changes are they are not.
  •  Ideally you should come into the store and consult one of our friendly staff and we can make custom adjustments to suit!
