RETURNS & EXCHANGES

EXCHANGES:

Purchasing online can be tricky. Photos do not always give a true representation of the shape, texture and colour. Also, choosing the correct hat to suit and getting the right fit is a complex process. If the item does not fit or is not as you expected, provided the same item is available, you may exchange it for another. You must advise us and return the item within 14 days. Due to limited availability, the same item may not be obtainable. If this is the case, exchange will be for items of the same value or a store credit. We do not refund.

Goods must be returned un-worn and in their original, re-saleable condition with all labels and swing tags still attached. If the item shows any sign of being worn or damaged by you it will not be accepted for return. Also, Hattitude has the right to refuse return if the item is returned outside of the 14 day period.

The customer is liable for any additional shipping costs incurred for both returning the item to us and the cost of re-shipping the replacement item. The shipping charges of your original order are non-refundable.

Please Note: Exchanges are limited to once per transaction. Made to order or custom hats cannot be returned or exchanged.

Please consider your choice carefully as we do not refund unless items are deemed to be faulty.

FAULTY ITEMS:

This does not include items that have been damaged as a result of wear and tear or mis-handling.

Please contact us as soon as you discover the fault either via [email protected]titude.co.nz or on phone (64) 09 215 8955. We will repair or replace the faulty item or refund the purchase price using the method in which you originally paid. We are happy to replace, repair or provide a refund within 14 days of the date you received your item, with proof of purchase, providing the items are in their original condition with all labels and swing tags still attached. Hattitude has the right to refuse returns if the product is not in its original condition or is returned outside the 14 day period.

All returns must be notified to us first, at [email protected] or on phone (64) 09 215 8955 and returned correctly packaged with the original order number and sent to: Hattitude, Shop 2 / 235 Parnell Rd, Parnell, Auckland 1052.

We suggest you select an insured shipping or postage method. You are responsible for the product until it reaches us. Hattitude does not accept responsibility for packages we do not ship ourselves.

We will advise you once we have received your goods. Once your item has been received by us your refund will be processed in the original form of payment within five working days.

You will be notified via email to the address listed on your account when this transaction has taken place. Please note that your banking institution may require additional days to process and post this transaction to your account once they have received the information from Hattitude.

Alternatively, once your item has been received by us your replacement item will be sent to you within five working days. Once the item has been sent, we will advise you of the item's tracking number and expected arrival date.

Once we receive the item we will repair, replace or refund the item within 5 days of receipt. Please note when registering your return at [email protected] if the item is faulty and cannot be replaced or repaired, we will refund to you the costs of returning the item and cover all shipping costs for the replacement or repaired item. The original shipping cost is non-refundable.

GENERAL:

Whilst we endeavour to keep our stock levels up to date, there is a possibility the item you have ordered may recently be out of stock. In this unlikely event, we will refund you immediately and contact you via the email address supplied on your account.

We may change the online prices at any time. In the unlikely event a product is listed at an incorrect price, we may cancel any order placed and refund the full amount of the price paid.

Hattitude takes no responsibility for items lost in transit while being returned that is between you and your courier.​
